My version


This is my first grid, which as you can tell I screwed up with the measuring because the squares are way to small.
















I figured this problem out when I started to paint the squares
and they weren't lining up with the original artwork.

    I think even if you did mess up the sizing of the squares, the overall grid came out nicely. I love all the varying shades of blue used to make up the wave. You can really tell you put a lot of effort into mixing the colors and making sure the same two shades weren't directly next to each other. Really portrays the feeling of deep, raging water well.

The idea for this film is to show the different layers we have. On the outside were all happy and joyful (shown by dancing) the happy/good words that we say, write and read to each other. However, there is a darker side on the inside we are drowning in hate, confusion, and lost (shown by tub filling with water). The dark side appears sometimes which is why you hear some bad terms.

Performance Art

For my performance art, I looked at the computer screen that had a photo of the view in front of me. With my performance, I wanted to show how people nowadays rather look at the view through a screen to either only see the good of the world or see some else view. I did have some issues because my performance is just me sitting most people just walked/drove past me with no second thought. Also having someone filmed me, I think they would also think its for a film and would avoid to be nice.
